To aces who have had sex, people say, “You just weren’t doing it right,” or “You had a bad experience,” or even “You can’t be asexual because you have sex just like other people do.”
It’s a trick. Don’t fall for it. Don’t let anyone cajole you into having sex that you don’t want; you owe them nothing, and you don’t have to “prove” your asexuality. Identify as asexual if that label works for you.
Ask your acquaintance if she’s ever tried to eat dirty socks. If she hasn’t, then how can she know she won’t like it if she’s never tried it?
